I have some news. Which to me is good news. This morning
President Holzapfel called us to tell us there will be a mid transfer.
Elder Peters, my companion, will be going to Alex City, AL and I will be
staying here. Elder Peters has been here for a pretty long time, since
last May. In the time that I was with him, I can tell he really wanted
to go somewhere else. So we were pretty surprised to get this call
this morning. Today was pretty much spent making the transition, him
packing and calling people to let them know what happened. The reason
its good news to me is because I pretty much got tired of being with
him, it was getting frustrated. So I'm glad and am excited for this
upcoming week.
Transfers are actually on the 13th of Feb. At least until then, I
will be with Elder Decker (from Colorado). He is a spanish speaking
missionary. Side note: he kind of looks like cousin Brandon. He's been
in the field longer than I have and he told me I had more companions
than he had. He is a pretty funny guy.
Well this week has been interesting so far. Have fun everybody. I took quite a few pictures of the snow, so be prepared.
Love yall,
Jacob
